How RebelHQ handles information submitted through joans.co.

Summary

RebelHQ operates joans.co under the Joans trade name. The site collects information you choose to provide so RebelHQ can respond to an inquiry or deliver the newsletter. It also records the limited first-party analytics described below.

Information we collect

Newsletter subscribers: the email address you provide, a timestamp, and your IP address at subscription. The IP address is stored with the subscription record to document the subscription choice and detect abusive sign-ups. Optional fields, such as name and firm, are stored only if you choose to provide them.

Contact submissions: name, work email, organization, role, organization type, topic, and the message you submit, plus the submission time. The optional newsletter choice is separate from asking Joans to contact you.

Anonymous reading analytics: a random identifier that lasts for a single browser-tab session, the page path, broad engagement events, referral or campaign labels, and the location of a successful form submission. Analytics does not include your name, email, organization, contact record identifier, raw query string, or form text such as a message. We do not load Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

Administrative records: session and authentication data for authorized Joans administrators.

Where information goes

Contact and newsletter records are stored in the site's database. Contact records may also go to the configured contact-notification and customer-relationship services so an operator can follow up. Newsletter records are used by the configured email service to manage subscriptions and sends.

How we use it

We use submitted information to reply to messages, manage the newsletter, understand which public pages and calls to action are used, and limit abusive submissions. The site does not load Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

Subscription consent and unsubscription

Subscribing is a single explicit action. The unsubscribe link appears in every newsletter and removes you from the active list immediately. We retain a suppression record containing the email address and unsubscribed status to prevent a later, unintended re-subscription.

Retention

Subscriber, suppression, contact, security, and anonymous analytics records remain in the systems that support these functions. We do not state a fixed deletion schedule until an enforced retention control exists. You may ask us to review or delete personal information as described below.

Requests about your information

Use the contact page to ask what information the site holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion. RebelHQ will review the request against the records involved and any applicable retention obligations.

Safeguards and submission limits

Administrative routes require authentication, and public forms are validated and rate limited. Application logging is configured to redact common credential fields. Do not submit client names, account information, investment documents, credentials, or other sensitive information through a public form.
